The training waiting list
When a training is full you can still join. Here is exactly what you see and what happens next.

In short
The waiting list lets you join a training that is already full and keep your place in line.
- When a training is full you can join the waiting list instead of being turned away.
- You keep a visible position, and it never moves backward while you wait.
- When a spot frees up, the right to book opens to the members in line. The first to confirm gets the spot.
- When a spot frees up you get a push notification from the app, not an email.
Joining a full training
Open the training and tap join. If there is a free spot you are booked straight away. If the training is full, you are added to the waiting list in order and the app shows your position immediately.
Your position
Your position tells you where you are in line. It is the order in which the right to book opens as spots free up. Your position only changes if you leave the list or the members ahead of you are booked. It never moves backward while you wait.
When a spot frees up
A spot can free up when another member cancels, when an admin removes someone or when they mark an absence before the start. When that happens, the app opens the right to book to the members in line and sends a push notification.
The app notifies you
You receive a push notification that a spot opened in the training.
You see it in the training list
The training list shows "Spot available, confirm now" next to your name. Open the training to find the "Confirm spot" button.
You confirm
Tap "Confirm spot". If the spot is still free it becomes yours and you appear among the confirmed members.
Getting the notifications
Waiting list alerts arrive only as push notifications from the iOS and Android app. That is why you need the app installed and the notification permission. You get no email, and nothing arrives from the browser: if you only use the website, open the training to check for a free spot.
Install the app
Download TT Club Manager for iOS or Android and sign in with your account.
Allow notifications
The first time you enter a club the app asks for permission. Answer allow.
Check the settings
If you skipped that step, open Settings > Notifications and turn on "Push notifications on this device".
Make sure it works
Leave "Spot offered" and "Added to waiting list" on and use "Send test notification".
Using a sub account, for example your child's? The notification goes to the main account. If the club turned off the "Spot offered" alert, the waiting list still works but you get no notifications: check the training in the app.
If someone else confirms first
Several members can hold the right to book at the same time. If someone confirms before you, the spot goes to them. You are not removed: you keep your position for the next spot that frees up.
What happens overnight
A spot often frees up at night, when nobody is awake. Instead of losing the spot, the right to book opens a little wider every couple of hours.
What never happens
A few things people worry about, and what actually happens:
You are not removed for missing a notification
If you do not confirm, you keep your place. The right simply opens to the next member as well.
Your position does not move backward
Waiting longer never sends you to the back of the queue.
No spot is offered for a session that already started
Once a training has started, no new spot is offered for it.
Cancelling and session start
You can leave the waiting list at any time before the training starts. If the spot is still free, the next member is notified right away. Once the training has started you can no longer cancel your booking, so attendance records stay accurate. If you cannot attend, the club marks you as absent.
